But back to the blog post! There's certain fashion trends you think will NEVER suit you and then when you actually try it you LOVE it! That's like me and maxi skirts!

I purchased this skirt not too long ago! I bought it in Outfit about a week ago (some of you will have seen it on Instagram!) I absolutely LOVE it! It's such a comfortable skirt and the fit of the skirt is amazing and fits perfectly on my waist.
I love crop tops at the moment and I think this orange one looks perfect with this maxi skirt! I've teamed it with a simple necklace from New Look and my favourite studded black pumps from Topshop!
I always thought maxi skirts were just a 'summer' trend but they are my favourite item of clothing to travel in as they are super comfortable and even when you're not feeling 100% you can still look glamorous!

Loving this skirt! I work in Outfit where I live and we have to wear black uniform. I tried this on for uniform and it's so lovely. Have so many maxis though so decided to put it back. Regretting it now!

I love maxi skirts, I bought one last summer and still wear it all the time- because I'm petite its my trick for looking taller! Yours looks gorgeous though, suits you so much and I love how you've styled it with the crop top. Your right they always make you feel so glamorous!

I love this maxi skirt! Been looking for a decent one for ages but loads lately have those pleats which sort of detract their versatility from dressing it up and down! Obv topshop is the way forward! Love the pink tee too its dead cute!

I love maxi skirts and recently I think that you can wear them whatever the weather (depending on the style and colour of the maxi skirt). I also love that you can wear a maxi skirt with almost everything, one day you can put on a pair of converse with a maxi and the next a cool pair of wedges, soo versatile :)
