It’s that time of the year again, its time to go on holiday!
As you’re reading this I’m currently away with my boyfriend in Greece for a
well earned break after finishing university a couple of weeks ago. One of my
biggest problems when I’m on holiday is the debate on how much make-up to wear
and how much make-up to pack. My boyfriend and me like to just travel with hand
luggage and so it’s definitely harder to pack when you have a limited amount of
liquids and sizes you can take on holiday. So for todays post I thought I’d
show you my entire holiday make-up bag so you can see my must-have essentials
for going away.
I didn’t think it would be possible to find a new concealer
I love until I discovered this one from Estee Lauder. This goes perfectly with
the double wear foundation and really highlights my under eye area on days when
I’m more tired.
Urban Decay setting spray (travel size) - John Lewis
After trying various setting sprays, I’m very convinced that
none of the high-street ones will beat the Urban Decay setting spray. It’s my
ultimate favourite and it’s a must-have for keeping your make-up in place all
day.
This is just the ultimate highlighter. I’ve also packed the
Topshop highlighter in crescent moon, which I love. I think it goes without
saying that when you’re on holiday it’s the only time you can over-use
highlighter!
If I’m in a rush this is my favourite eye shadow to use. I
never thought I’d enjoy using a cream eye shadow as much as this but it’s such
a gorgeous colour. When I want to create a minimal make-up look on holiday this
is what I’ll be using.
After being a long-time fan of my Urban Decay mascara, I
thought it was time to test a new one out. I picked up the new miss hippie
mascara with my boots points and I really like the results from using it so
far. It leaves my lashes feeling volumised and looking a lot fuller.
When I’m on holiday my lips get incredibly dry and in my
beauty stash I came across this lip balm. I’ve been using this the past few
days and I really like it, it leaves my lips looking a lot plumper and feeling
really moisturised.
I really like this brow product from l’oreal and this is the
second one I’ve used. It leave my brows looking thicker and more full.
When it comes to holiday lip products I tend to pack a
couple of nude lipsticks and a couple of bright lipsticks. For my holiday this
year I’ve opted for NYX Liquid Suede in soft-spoken, Maybelline Vivid matte liquid lipstick in orange shot, MAC Lipstick in Lady Danger and MAC Lipstick in Persistence.
NYX is my favourite drugstore brand at the moment and they
really do create such amazing products. I picked this contour palette up when I
went to Germany and I’ve used it everyday since. This has got a great mix of
highlight and contour shades.
I’m trying to keep it minimal when it comes to eye shadow on
holiday, but if I’m going out in the evening I will need an eye shadow palette
that can really change up my eye make-up and the only answer I have is this eye
shadow palette from Charlotte Tilbury in Dolce Vita.
When I recently bought my Estee Lauder foundation and a
lipstick I received a make-up bag full of mini Estee Lauder samples and this
perfume was one of the samples and this is perfect for travelling with (and
smells insane!)
Have you tried out any of my holiday make-up essentials?
What make-up product couldn’t you live without when you are going on holiday?

I hope you're having a lovely time in Greece! I seriously need to get my hands on the NYX palette!
Love Katy @ The Rawrdrobe x
Love this - for me its all about the lip balm and the glow on a summer holiday. The main thing I can't be without is some salt spray or mousse for my hair - humidity gives me big hair!!

It's really fascinating to travel with beauty item including perfume samples. The small bottles of the perfume can easily fit in any bag. Modern Muse by Estee Lauder is really a great and one of the top selling perfume. The notes of this perfume are also amazing. I bought one from my local store named BPIB. By the way, thanks for sharing this post.
