NYX is a brand that really has taken the UK by storm the past 18 months. NYX counters are now in all major Boots stores and there’s even a NYX counter coming to Stoke at the end of July!

NYX launches are some of the most talked about products in beauty blogging land right now and a few months ago they launched the NYX lingerie liquid lipsticks. The amazing range comes in 12 shades and I have 4 of them. The shades I own are Embellishment, Ruffle Trim, Teddy and Beauty Mark.

Believe it or not, for a range of purely ‘nude’ colours each of these 4 shades are very different. First up its Embellishment and it’s a very different nude shade compared to any other nude lipstick I own. It’s more of purple toned nude shade and I think this would look great with a Smokey eye look. Beauty Mark has been called a dupe for a Kylie lip kit and it definitely has incredible pigmentation. I love this nude shade and it’s probably the shade I’ll wear the most on a daily basis.

Ruffle trim is probably the most unique lingerie liquid lipstick I own and it’s more of a pale pink nude. I think this is a great lipstick for a casual/toned down look. Teddy is a shade I absolutely ADORE! I never thought I’d love this shade as much as I do. I think this shade would look perfect on a night out and I love blotting this during the day so the colour isn’t so intense.

If I had to pick a favourite, my favourite is Beauty Mark as it reminds me a bit of MAC Persistence which is my all-time favourite MAC shade.
