There are a lot of things I have been enjoying lately. I’m
now making it a regular feature to create monthly beauty favourites in a blog
post and I thought in-between the months, every so often I would show you all
the products I currently love. Whether they are books, products, electronics,
new launches, food etc.
If you missed last months post on my beauty favourites you
can check that post out here. This current favourites includes Spectrum
brushes, Charlotte Crosby, Barry M, Foreo, Redken hair products, Tangle Teezer
and Caudalie.
(currently on offer in Boots for buy 1 get 1 half price)
I seem to have a love/hate affair with Barry M nail
polishes. There was a long time where
all I ever used was the gelly shine polishes but after just a couple of hours
the polish would always chip, never stay on longer then a couple of days and
after a while I fell out of love with them. One thing I have noticed in the
past few months (maybe year) is that Barry M is seriously upping its game in
the beauty industry.
There are so many products I have my eye on from the brand
including the illuminating strobing cream and chisel cheeks contour kit. I am
reasonably impressed with these two polishes from the coconut infusions range
so far and both these colours go well together. However, it’s been about a day
and half since I painted my nails and they’re already begun to chip. The colour
of both shades of the nail polishes are amazing though!
Foreo Luna Play in Aqua Marine* - £29 available at Look Fantastic
These little devices are taking over the beauty blogger
industry at the moment and for all the right reasons. I’ve had the original
Foreo for about a year now and I really love using it for when my skin needs a
bit more TLC. At about £100, the original Foreo is expensive so they’ve brought
out the Luna Play, which doesn’t break the bank at £29.
Firstly, this little device is absolutely tiny (It’s the same
size as a cotton pad!) which makes it extremely portable. This facial cleansing
device is designed to provide a professional standard of skincare in just one
minute (It literally feels like you are massaging your face) The Luna Play
helps unclog pores and lift away dirt, oil and dead skin. The Luna Play is
waterproof so you can use it in the bath or shower and this version lasts up to
100 uses. The only downside to this product is if you’re someone who likes to
use products like this twice a day, this will only last 2 months. However, if
you’re like me and use it about one or twice a week it can last for about 6
months.
This product I’m a little bit in love with. I received a mini version of this in a recent Birchbox and then I added the full size to my collection of skincare products and I don’t know what I’d do without it. I’m saving the rest of the mini version for when I go on holiday to Greece next weekend. I use this whenever my skin needs a little bit of moisturising boost and sometimes I just use this as a moisturiser at night too.
If you’re a fan of smelly products for your skin you’ll love this. This vinosource moisturising sorbet smells absolutely DIVINE and smells a bit like grapefruit. It leaves my skin feeling lovely and soft and can also double up as a make-up primer too. If you're a fan of Caudalie products you can check out my recent post on the brand here.
Live Fast, Lose Weight: Fat to Fit: 80 recipes for a healthylifestyle by Charlotte Crosby - £6.50 available at Amazon
When Geordie Shore first came about, I can honestly say I
was never a fan of the show. However, I’ve always watched Celebrity Big Brother
and so when Charlotte entered the house I decided to give the show a watch. She
is without a doubt my favourite character; she’s so funny and SO real. From
following her weight journey on Geordie Shore, I pre-ordered this book when it
was due to be released. I’ve made a few recipes from this book and I have to
say I really love the recipes she has put in this book. There is a lot of
recipes with sweet potato, tuna, chicken and she seems to have a love for
spinach (like me!) there is a lot of recipes I’d still love to try and what I
like about this book is that you don’t have to go out and buy ingredients and
90% of the ingredients she includes you’ll find in your fridge/cupboards.
ME ME ME by Charlotte Crosby - £3.85 available at Amazon
Charlotte Crosby has been in the media a lot the past week
and due to being a little obsessed with her most recent cookbook, I picked up
her autobiography. With going away next weekend for a week with my boyfriend, I
was on the hunt for some holiday reading and this only cost me about £4 which
was an absolute bargain. I can’t wait to read this as I’m sure it’ll be as
funny as Charlotte comes across on TV and it’ll be a light read which will be
perfect for my holiday!
Redken Pillow Proof Blow Dry Primer - £17
Redken is a brand I have never really tried before but I’m
really impressed with these products. I’ve never tried out a hair primer before
but when I’m blow-drying my hair these two products have worked a treat on my
hair so far. This primer helps reduce the time it takes to blow dry you hair,
reduce breakage and provides 24-house lasting volume without weighing your hair
down which is a total winner for me!
Silver Tangle Teezer - £12.49 from Boots
If you follow me on Twitter you’ll have noticed a recently
won a competition over on Tangle Teezer’s Twitter page. I won a Michael Kors
bag (it’s dreamy) and about 8 different Tangle Teezer’s and I’m obsessed. I now
carry a Tangle Teezer in every handbag I own and they are definitely the
ultimate handbag essential.
If you’ve been following me for the past few months you’ll
have noticed I’m a little bit obsessed with Spectrum brushes. My favourite set
of Spectrum brushes I own is definitely this marbleous set, they look so
pretty! They are so easy to use, easy to blend and they are totally
instagrammable!
What do you think of my current favourites? What are you loving at the moment?
