I never used to carry around a travel makeup bag with me in
my handbag but in the past few months I’ve started to carry around some of my
favourite makeup products to touch up my make up on the go. I’ve seen a few ‘what
I carry on in my makeup bag’ posts and videos and I thought I would do a more
updated version as it’s what makeup I carry everyday in my makeup bag.
Every minimal make-up look (or make up emergency) needs this
product from Bare Minerals in their lives. Complexion rescue is more like a
tinted bb cream/moisturiser but with a medium coverage. It makes my skin look
so dewy and leaves it feeling super hydrated. I love using this when my
foundation needs a top up on the go or for a minimal make-up day.
L'Oreal Brow Artist Plumper - £5.99
This is the product that I like to call the miracle brow
product. No matter how busy I am, what I’m up to or whether I’m doing make up
on the go, this product sorts me out. I absolutely love the brow products by
Benefit but they are a little bit out of my price range and so this brow artist
from L’Oreal does the same thing as the Benefit Gimme Brow at a fraction of the
price.
This cream contour stick from Maybelline I feel is massively
underrated in the beauty blogging world. I absolutely LOVE using this and it works so
well and gives my face a ‘natural’ contoured look. I find this stick works best
when using a beauty blender to blend it all in.
Real Techniques 2 Miracle Mini Eraser Sponges - £5.99 (for set of 2)
I never thought I’d love using this mascara just as much as
I love using the Urban Decay Subversion Mascara. I absolutely adore this mascara from L’Oreal and I’ve never
really been a fan of the mascaras from L’Oreal I’ve tried in the past. This
mascara has a really unusual shaped wand and it leaves my lashes looking full
and defined and like I’ve got a pair of false lashes on (which is a total
winner for me!) If you’re looking for a new mascara to try, I would 100%
recommend picking this up next time you’re in Boots/Superdrug.
NYX Pro Brush 06 - £14
This brush has slowly become one of my favourite make-up
brushes to use. I needed a highlighting brush that really picked up product and
helped blend in my highlight well. This brush was an absolute lifesaver, it is
also great to use with powder or bronzer too.
The Mary Lou Manizer from theBalm is possibly the best
highlighter you’ll ever buy. I’ve had this in my life for about a year now and
I use it most days. I’ve read a lot online that it’s a dupe for the Becca Champagne Pop Highlighter (but I’m yet to try that out!) If you’re in the
market for a new highlighter and a good highlighter you won’t regret picking
this up.
This concealer is the absolute dream. I can’t get over how
good this concealer is! It covers any sign of redness, dark circles or any
spots you need covering. This is the only concealer I’ve used which doesn’t
crease too. I love this concealer so much that I dedicated a whole blog post to
it (which you can read here).
If you love a brown eye shadow (like me) this creamy eye
shadow will become your new best friend. I love using this when I’m doing my
make up in a rush and this cream eye shadow is easy to blend and lasts on my
eyes all day.
I’ve come to the conclusion that this is one of my favourite
lipsticks (and that’s a bold statement as I really like lipsticks) this shade
from Urban Decay is limited edition and exclusive to Selfridges and it’s an
absolute dream. It’s super moisturising and pigmented and stays on my lips for
a really long time.
Lastly, is my favourite lip liner at the moment which is from Urban Decay. 1993 is a shade that’s been in Urban Decay’s lip section for
such a long time but it’s always out of stock when I’ve tried to get my hands
on it. It’s a gorgeous shade of nude and it’s my ‘my lips but better shade’.

Love this post! I am going away next month and always tend to over pack when it comes to makeup. I also love the look of the 1993 lip liner. I love UD but haven't tried their lip liners yet xx
