One thing I love
about the beauty industry is finding out about new beauty launches. I
absolutely love trying out new beauty products (hence the amount of beauty
products I love to review on my blog) and so a couple of months back I started
with ‘new in’ monthly posts and here is what’s new to my beauty collection for
this month so far.
NYX Avant Pop Shadow Palette - Boots
NYX is a brand I absolutely adore and now that it’s
available in local Boots stores up and down the country (instead of just
online) I can see it being a favourite make-up brand of mine for a long time.
This palette seems to sort you out for pretty much every occasion that will
land you way. You can wear the lighter shades during the day and the darker and
shimmering shades to create evening looks. The eye shadows are highly pigmented
and really easy to apply and blend and what’s even better is you’re getting 10
reasonably high quality eye shadows for only £13. You can check out this post about my favourite NYX products.
Collection is a brand that I think is really underrated in
the beauty blogging industry. I think the lasting perfection concealer is the
only product that’s spoken about from the brand and it’s a shame as they have
some many other amazing affordable products. As much as I love using the wunderbrow
or my HD brows palette, I have been looking for a budget alternative to carry
around in my handbag for when I’m doing my make-up on the go. This palette is an absolute dream for the
price, it comes with a brush, clear brow mascara, a mirror and 3 brow shades to
help create the perfect brow.
Highlighting is a massive trend at the moment in the beauty
world and I think it’s a trend that is here to stay. I love how so many budget
brands are coming out with amazing highlighting products and these are
definitely products to pick up next time you’re in Boots/Superdrug. I love
using the golden glow one for everyday wear with my Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation
to make my skin look that little bit more dewy.
Bliss Lemon and Sage Maximum Moisture Cream - Bliss
I’ve tried a few products from Bliss in the past and they smell absolutely AMAZING. This product from Bliss is an Elle Beauty Award Winner and it leaves your skin feeling hydrated, supple and healthy. The sodium hyaluronate helps to normalise the skin moisture content and help it retain water. This cream also includes coconut oil (which is literally the dream ingredient).
If you’re not a fan of liquid highlighting products then you
NEED to pick up this highlighting powder. I love using a fan brush with this to
create a light coverage to a basic make-up look so my skin still looks glowy.
When it comes to hair care products for temporary dying
there’s not much choice on the high street. I remember seeing these Pixie Lott
Paints in Superdrug and now I’m super happy I have this shade and the hair
chalks in my life. I think these products are great for when you fancy changing
your hair colour but for it to not be permanent. I am going to be using this
hopefully for around Halloween time for a party (though I may test it before
hand to see how red my hair goes!) I will probably only dye the ends though!
Who doesn’t love hair chalks? I think these are great for
parties, festivals a like and also if you’re just fancying trying a different
look with you hair. What’s great about these is that they are wash out too and
so they’re well worth trying out if you love experimenting with your hair.
Bare Minerals Clay Chameleon Purifying Cleanser - £18 from Feel Unique
I’ve been a fan of Liz Earle and Estee Lauder skincare for
an extremely long time and I never thought I’d feel like straying from my holy
grail skincare products, as they are favourite brands of mine. A few weeks ago
I received a couple of new products from Bare Minerals in the post (this
cleanser and moisturising cream) and I have to say I AM IN LOVE. Like actual
LOVE. This cleanser comes everywhere with me (even when I stay over at my
boyfriends) as I really can’t bear to be without it. I love this cleanser as it smells like roses,
it is foaming and it leaves my skin feeling so soft. I think this is a great
cleanser (and it’s not too expensive either) if you have normal/dry skin like
myself.
Lastly, it’s this gorgeous moisturising cream from Bare
Minerals and how gorgeous is this packaging? I love the newly revamped look to
Bare Minerals (and they’re one of my favourite brands too) and the new skincare
range looks so gorgeous propped up in my bathroom at the moment too! This
moisturiser smells like a total dream, a little goes a long way and I love
using this after the purifying cleanser.
What do you think of this months beauty launches? Have you tried out any of these products?
