I’ve never tried anything from Charlotte Tilbury aside from
my trusty Dolce Vita palette but being an avid blog reader and blogger I have
read hundreds of reviews and I’ve heard nothing but good things about the
brand. I think Charlotte Tilbury really had its moment last year and became a
make-up favourite for so many bloggers due to the brands stunning packaging and
luxe appeal.
Firstly, just look at the dreamy packaging! Burgundy and
rose gold makes this look really expensive and let’s just face it it’s
beautiful to look at. It’s the sort of packaging you would never want to throw
away because it’s too pretty!

I’m still obsessed with using the TooFaced Better Than Sex
mascara but at the moment I’ve been testing out this one. First of all, the
packaging is just gorgeous and it looks great in my make-up bag! This mascara
helps build volume to my lashes without looking clumpy and it’s extremely black
in colour, which is a bonus. The only downside to this is that after a few
hours you can suffer from panda eyes with this mascara but it can easily be
sorted!
Who wouldn’t love an all in one palette? This palette is an
absolute dream for people who are constantly on the go and want to still
looking glamorous without carrying 101 different make-up products in their
handbag. Inside this palette you get a huge mirror (which is very handy),
bronzer, blusher, highlighter, powder and eye shadow.
I absolutely love the 3 shades of eye shadow you get in this
palette and I think they work so well together. I like using the middle shade
for a more neutral eye but then for a nighttime look, I like to use all three.
What I also love about this palette as it tells you which each colour is for
and it’s super handy when it comes to eye shadow as when you are creating a
smokey eye quickly it helps you be more precise with your application.
I love how you get a sample of the famous film star bronzer
in this palette too. I know this bronzer is a favourite of so many celebrities
and it’s a great colour, which will suit all skin tones. The bronzer is also a
sort of multi-use product as you could easily use this as an eye shadow too.
The shades in this palette I would probably use the least
are the blushers as that’s an item of make-up I don’t tend to reach for on a
daily basis but for a night out these blusher shades are the sort of shades I
would go for.
I really like how this palette includes a highlighter (and
it’s great btw!) the highlighter is creamy and easy to blend but it can also be
layered to create more definition.
Overall, I am really impressed with this palette and I think
it’s well worth the money if you’re a huge fan of Charlotte Tilbury or someone,
which hasn’t tried Charlotte Tilbury before and would like to try out a variety
of products from the brand. This palette is going to be permanently in my
handbag as it’s the perfect staple to top your make-up up on the go.
This palette is also exclusive to John Lewis so I’d hurry up
and pick this up now if I were you!
