Beauty: Current Beauty Favourites ft Smashbox, Topshop, Too Faced

I feel like I have been the worst blogger ever this past week! I feel like time is just slipping away and with it getting darker earlier, all I want to do is nap once I’ve got in from work. However, I’m still loving trying new beauty products and experimenting with my look everyday so I thought I’d write a little ‘make-up’ update of some of my favourite products at the moment.

Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue - £27

Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue is my favourite product for on the go or for when I’m running out of time to do a full face of make-up. I love using this when my skin needs a little more moisture and it’s so easy to blend as well.

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara - £19

This is a mascara I discovered thanks to my Glossybox subscription and I haven’t looked back since. I absolutely LOVE this mascara and it really lengthens my lashes and adds volume. I think this is going to be a mascara I’ll be repurchasing for a very long time. The only downside is Too Faced is a brand that’s a little harder to get hold of in the UK so I’ll be ordering this online!

Zoeva Cocoa Blend Palette - £18

This palette from Zoeva has been a favourite of mine for a long time. I absolutely adore it and I think it’s seriously underrated in the blogosphere. I reach for this palette almost daily and I think the colours are so perfect for autumn at the moment! It’s only £18 too, which makes it a total bargain.

Limited Edition Highlighter in Sun Warrior - £10

This highlighter is literally my favourite thing right now. I’m a big fan of the Mary Lou Manizer highlighter, but I wanted a more budget friendly option and this is a total dupe for the Mary Lou. I love using this to create a subtle glow but also love using this to create a really highlighted look for when I’m going out for the evening.

One thing that’s different about my make-up routine at the moment is that I absolutely love lipsticks and these two shades from Smashbox are ones I reach for on a daily basis. Dirty Matte is similar to Velvet Teddy but I’d say it’s got more of a pink tone to it (but it’s still quite brown) then Cliffhanger matte is perfect for evenings out or for when I’m wearing more heavy make-up. These lipsticks are super long wearing and really pigmented which I love! I’ll be definitely picking up a few more shades of these… I mean there are 120 shades in the collection!
