January has been a month full of great make-up products and
I’ve discovered some great products this month. The drugstore is killing it at
the moment and there are some real treats available in Boots. So here are 7
more items you can add to your make-up wish list.
L'Oreal Pure Clay Glow Scrub - Currently £3.99
One thing I love about L’Oreal is the wide range of products
they do, they’ve mastered the world of hair care, make-up and now they have
moved onto skincare. I remember when they first came out with the pure clay masks
I knew I had to try them. My favourite from the range was the Pure Clay GlowMask so when I saw this scrub in Boots I knew I had to try it and it’s
currently on offer for £3.99 too. On days when I don’t want to use a facemask,
this is my go to. I think it’s great for exfoliating your skin and when I
moisturise after my skin is left feeling super soft.
L'Oreal False Lash Superstar Mascara - £7.99 (currently on a 2 for £12 offer!)
Now I am never normally a fan of a new mascara release as
how good can a mascara get?! I am a massive fan of the Too Faced Better ThanSex Mascara but at £19 a pop, it’s expensive. When I was shopping recently, I
picked up the new false lash superstar x fiber mascara from L’Oreal. This
mascara has two steps, step 1 is a volumising black primer, which helps to
thicken your lashes and build extreme volume, and step 2 helps build extreme
length and your lashes appear lifted and longer for a dramatic look. I’ve used
this mascara non stop for a week now and I’d highly recommend picking this up!
If you’re looking for a good eyeshadow palette on a budget,
I’d 100% recommend using a Maybelline palette. I’ve found that Maybelline have
really upped their game lately when it comes to products and this palette
really did catch my eye for the mix of colours. My favourite shades are the top
right gold shade and bronze shade diagonally to that. What’s great about this
palette is it’s perfect for day time and night time looks but it’s just missing
a mirror!
If you’re a fan of brow products then you’ll love this fiber
volumiser. It leaves my brows looking full and volumised but be careful with
this product, as you really don’t need a lot to cover your brows.
NYX Eye Shadow Base - £5.50
NYX are a brand which really aces it when it comes to make
up trends and I’ve noticed that there isn’t many budget primers on the market
at the moment (if any!) I tend to use the Urban Decay Eye Primer Potion which I
absolutely love but I was looking for something perfect for everyday use and
this primer is an absolute steal at only £5.50.
For those days when you’re super tired and your under eye
bags are seriously noticeable, this is the product I reach for. I use this
underneath concealer just to make sure that my bags are covered as much as
possible. This concealer is super heavy coverage so it works great on spots
too.
I am absolutely obsessed with using this brow pencil from
Benefit. I didn’t think that a brow product could be this good but it’s so
worth the money. However I am desperate to try the ABH brow wiz once this
pencil has run out. On one side of this has a small spooly which is perfect for
brushing through your brows and the other side has an angled pencil perfect for
creating brush strokes and outlining your brows. If you’re looking for brow
products on a budget however, I’d recommend any brow products from Maybelline.
Have you tried any of these products? Do you have any product recommendations?

Loved this post girl!!! Definitely heading down to boots tomorrow to buy the L'Oreal mascara!! I love their mascaras but never tried this one!! Might also find the NYX eyeshadow base, always on the look out for a cheaper alternative to the MAC one I usually use! 😏😏
Oh my God, this is so exciting. I fully intend to pick up the 24K Maybelline palette and the clay scrub from L'Oreal and the NYX Eye Base all tomorrow. Such great finds, I am genuinely so excited right now. I wish Boots was open 24/7, thanks for sharing! Xx
