Beauty: My Top 5 Eyeshadow Brushes ft Real Techniques, MAC & Zoeva

Thursday, February 23, 2017

Now who doesn’t love doing their make up? There is something about applying make-up that I find really relaxing and finding the perfect brushes has been a bit of a challenge. On a daily basis, the majority of brushes I reach for are affordable and have lasted me a very long time and I’ve been really loving doing my eye make up at the moment so for todays post I’ll be showing you all my favourite 5 eye make up brushes.

This is the holy grail of eye make up brushes and 100% worth investing in. I love using this after applying my Estee Lauder Eyeshadow Base to apply my base colour, which is normally a cream/light brown shade. I find this brush so soft to use and it’s so easy to blend eye shadows together with.

2. Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush (part of the eye collection set - £21.99)

This has been my favourite eye shadow brush for such a long time now so much so I’ve got about 4 of these in my make-up brush collection. I use these brushes every day without fail and it’s perfect for blending colours and is really soft to use.

3. Zoeva 228 Luxe Crease Brush - £8.99

When I’m finishing off my eye make-up look or when I’m going for a really dramatic look I use this brush to blend my eye shadow in. It’s perfect for applying eye shadow and it can even be used as a powder brush too! I love using this brush with my Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette, they work together like a total dream!

4. Zoeva 234 Luxe Smoky Shader Brush - £8.99

When it comes to my under eye area, this is the only brush I reach for. This brush from Zoeva helps me achieve the perfect smoky look under my eyes whilst looking very natural at the same time. I find when I use a different brush instead of this one it looks too dramatic and defined so I always use this brush.

5. Real Techniques Bold Metals 203 Brush - £16

Part of the Real Techniques Bold Metals collection, this brush is a real investment to your make up stash. You can use this brush for powder, cream and glitter eye shadows. You can also use this for blending highlighter along your brow bone too. This brush is perfect for blending into the crease of your eyes or a seamless finish.

If you’re looking for new eye shadow brushes, I would 100% recommend picking up any of these brushes if you want to seriously up your make-up game.

Have you tried any of these brushes? Do you have any make up brush recommendations?
