I remember when I first discovered Lottie London, it was in
a beauty box about a year and a half ago and then I was lucky enough to be
contacted by the PR and sent a few beauty samples to try which you can see in this post way back in 2015. After this Lottie London sort of went off the radar
a bit in the beauty blogging world but I still picked up the new releases that
caught my eye when I was in Superdrug.
However a few weeks ago I noticed the brand is now stocked
on ASOS (yaaas!) and I knew I had to pick a few things up which you can see in this post and I wasn’t disappointed. Lottie London has had a massive rebrand
and their products are so affordable and so good! So I thought it was time for
a Lottie London beauty haul as it’s a brand which you need to try and it doesn’t
break the bank which is a win win situation.
These liquid lipsticks have seriously upped the game for
other liquid lipsticks, which are affordable at the drugstore. They are an
absolute steal at only £5.99 each and they even come as a Kylie Jenner style ‘lip
kit’ for £8.99 too. These lipsticks as you can see are really pigmented, the
colour pay off is great and they last well on your lips too. My favourite shade
from these three is definitely #TBT and I’ll definitely be purchasing the lip kit version for the matching lip liner!
This foundation is the sort of product that takes a few layers to get your desired amount of coverage. I am a big fan of high-end foundations but on the odd occasion I do reach for a drugstore one. I was impressed with this foundation as it was really light on my skin, moisturising and easy to blend however, this shade was a tiny bit too light for me!
Lottie London Soap Star Cleanser - £6.99
If you find washing your brushes an absolute chore then you
NEED this cleanser in your life it’s literally a life saver. I use this to wash
all my brushes and my beauty blender and it works like a dream. I just swirl
the dirty brush around on this soap and it gets rid of all the excess make-up
and leaves you with a super clean brush!
Lottie London Mermaid Highlighter - £5.99*
Who doesn’t love a highlighting product? I think one of my
favourite products in this haul, aside from the brush cleanser soap and #TBT
liquid lipstick is this strobelight highlighter stick. I find that this
highlighter is really natural and blends easily onto my skin and I like to use
this once I’ve applied my concealer. However, this mermaid concealer I don’t
think is my cup of tea as it doesn’t work well on my skin tone but doesn’t the
packaging look super dreamy?!
When it comes to primers, the high-street offering in Boots
and Superdrug is pretty pour. I tend to use my Smashbox one or my Urban Decay Quick Fix Complexion Spray but for the past few days I’ve been testing out this
radiance primer. I think this primer is really moisturising and gentle on my
skin and a little of this primer goes a long way. This is a water-based primer
and it’s enriched with vitamin E, which is good for your skin. I’ve recommend
trying this if you’re looking for a primer on a budget.
Lottie London Got It Covered Concealer in Shell - £4.99*
When it comes to applying my make-up one of my favourite
steps is adding my concealer. I’ve always opted for a higher-end concealer but
this concealer from Lottie London I was really impressed by. I really liked the
applicator on this concealer and found it super easy to blend on my skin. This
shade is a little too light for me but it means this concealer is perfect for
making my dark under eyes look more awake.
I think these glossy liquid lipsticks I was least impressed
with as when I’m wearing lipstick I don’t usually go for a gloss. I found that
when I tested these two lipsticks that they didn’t suit my skin tone and the
colour pay off wasn’t great, however I still want to try a nude shade in this,
especially for when my lips are super dry!
Lottie London Ready Set! Go Finishing Powder - £5.45*
When you want your make-up to set the first thing I reach
for is a powder or a setting spray. As much as I love setting sprays, my under
eye area still looks creased at the end of the day however, since using this
powder it’s not been a problem (winner!) A little of this powder goes a long
way and I love using this after applying concealer.
Lottie London Blush Crush in Justin - £4.99*
One thing I am trying to get into wearing a bit more is
blusher. I actually really like this shade and how it’s a cream product. Once
I’ve applied my foundation I love adding a bit of blusher to add some colour to
my cheeks.
If you are looking for a good quality eye shadow palette
under £10 then I’d recommend investing in one of these palettes! There are 4
palettes in various colours and I’ve picked up the ‘In the smokes’ palette. I
actually really like this, as the colour variety is different from any eye
shadow palettes I currently own. I’m normally a fan of nude/brown/orange eye
shadows but this palette has caught my eye. My favourite shades are the khaki
greens as I think they work well with my skin tone. As you can see they are
really pigmented too!
Overall, I am so impressed with this brand and I already have an ASOS
wish list of the next products I want to test out! I was lucky enough to be
sent some of these products (all marked with an asterisk) but the ones not
marked I’ve bought myself and loved using. If I had to recommend one product to
definitely buy it would be the radiance primer or the #TBT liquid lipstick.

Always wanted to check out this brand after seeing it on Asos! Do you have any problems with flashback using the translucent powder?
I'm actually a little obsessed with the brand at the moment! I love the Lip kits and Liquid lipsticks, they are so good for the price. I really like the concealer too. The radiance primer sounds right up my street! The Eyeshadow palettes are next on my list xx
