I’ve been a huge fan of Look Fantastic for what feels like years now. I love how the brand is northern based, how it’s at the forefront of all things beauty and online and their beauty boxes have just gone from strength to strength. I’ve been a subscriber of their beauty box since they first started and this year they have really upped their game and the products in their beauty boxes are so impressive.
I remember early last year they started adding copies of Elle magazine into their beauty boxes as who doesn’t love a good read of a fashion and beauty bible? And it was only just a matter of time before they collaborated with Elle on a special edition beauty box and it really didn’t disappoint.
This month’s beauty box includes goodies from Heatcure, Skin Chemists, Caudalie, Starskin, St Tropez and Pur Cosmetics.
Caudalie is a brand I really like and a brand which works well on my skin and so I was so excited to see this in this months Look Fantastic box. The moisturiser is part of their new Vine Active range and it’s a lightweight cream, which is perfect for adding hydration to your skin. It contains unique anti-pollution technology that helps to keep your skin clear and has a blocking pollution, which helps prevent skin damage. I’m really impressed with this so far so I’ll definitely be picking up the full size version.
Pur Minerals Disappearing Act Concealer - (Travel size, RRP £21)
Pur Minerals is a brand I’ve never tried before but I’ve heard a bit about in the beauty blogging world lately. The only issue with this concealer is the shade ‘light’ is far too light for me so unfortunately I’ll be passing this onto one of my colleagues at work as it deserves a better home!
One thing I’ve always really liked about the Look Fantastic beauty boxes is that they include a mix of high end and drugstore priced products and this serum from SkinChemists is on the higher end of the spectrum. This serum is packed with active ingredients that are rich in vitamins and antioxidants which work to promote healthy skin so what could be better?!
St Tropez Instant Gloss - Travel Size 30ml
This tanning product can be used to give you the ‘celebrity glow legs’ as I like to call them as who doesn’t want to look like a bronzed goddess on an evening out?! This gloss has such good reviews online and you can layer it up for a more bronzed look.
Starskin Eye Catcher - 1x Pack RRP £8.50
First of all can Starskin products be in every beauty box? I absolutely love their facemasks. There’s nothing I love more when I’m relaxing then doing an eye mask and I’ve used this mask before 3 or 4 times before and I love it! This mask is rich in coconut juice and liquorice root extract, which aims to reduce your dark circles and fine lines. I love using this for that extra boost when I’m feeling super tired.
Redken Heatcure Treatment - 1 x Sachet
Who doesn’t love a hair treatment? When I’m having a pamper sesh and doing a facemask I love trying out new hair treatments. This mask is self heating and a deep conditioning treatment which helps restore damaged hair and this has raving reviews online so I’m excited to try this!
Overall I am really impressed with this month’s box and I love how Look Fantastic has collaborated with Elle Magazine. My favourite products in this months box are the Caudalie moisturiser and the Starskin mask. I think this box is definitely worth picking up as who doesn’t love a box of beauty treats? And at only £15 this is a total steal.
