This month’s beauty box from Glossybox is an absolute treat.
It’s actually probably my favourite edition EVER (and the packaging is dreamy
as well). If you’re reading this post and you’ve never heard of Glossybox,
Glossybox is a monthly beauty subscription box which includes a unique edit of
5 treats from as little as £8.50 a month (plus £3.25 postage and packaging).
This months box includes products from Spectrum Collections,
Monu Professional Skincare, Cutebalms and Papanga. There is also a special offer
on for this month where you can get your first box for only £5 (which is a
total dream) and you can sign up to Glossybox here. But for now, onto this
month’s box…
If you’re a girl who loves highlighter, then you are
seriously missing a trick if you haven’t got a fan brush in your life. I
already have this exact brush in my beauty stash and use this everyday (or I
use this Zoeva one!) and so this one has gone to a colleague at work who’s
obsessed with highlighter and strangely doesn’t own a fan brush (gotta help a
girl out!) I use this brush with a light hand to make the highlighter which I
am applying look as natural as possible.
This product from Bellapierre was actually really exciting to
see in this month’s Glossybox as I’ve only ever seen the shimmer eye shadows,
which Bellapierre do in the past. In the world of beauty powder has made a real
comeback and I am a huge fan of translucent powder. This powder works so well
for baking and it also has the ability to counteract redness, discoloration, and
blemishes and reduce the appearance of dark circles. Also, if you’re a darker
skinned girl or have olive skin this powder works so well at highlighting your
skin.
Cutebalms Macaroon Tint Balm in Crushed Berry - £5.99
Lip balms are literally my favourite thing at the moment and
they come in SO handy. I kind of want to have one everywhere I go, on my
bedside table, in my car, in every handbag I own! What I love about this is it
looks like a macaroon (and who doesn’t love macaroons). This balm has Aloe
Vera, Vitamin E, Shea Butter and it leaves your lips feeling super hydrated.
Papanga Spiral Hairbands - £4.99
I never really realised until recently that the normal hair
bands are actually quite bad for your hair. You hair can become more damage and
fray when you use a normal hairband so a recent trend is the spiral hairband.
Spiral hairbands can hold hair much better than original hairbands and prevent
breakage and split ends.
MONUspa Soothing After Sun Lotion - £19.95
Lastly, in this months box is after sun lotion from Monu
Professional Skincare. Monu is a brand I absolutely love and their skincare is
amazing, however I have never tried this product from them. If you’re going on
your holidays this month or next month then this after sun lotion will be
perfect for your trip (especially if you burn easily!)
Overall, I absolutely love this months box and think that
all the products in this box are SO good. My favourite two products (if I had
to pick) would be the Bellapierre Cosmetics banana powder and the Spectrum
Cosmetics fan brush.
You can sign up to Glossybox here from as little as £5 a month!
Are you a fan of Glossybox? Have you tried any of these products?
