There is never something more exciting than a beauty launch
arriving at your door and it being from one of your favourite brands. I’m a
huge fan of Kiehls products and it’s one of those brands that I seriously love
everything I’ve tried from the brand so far and I have a Kiehls wish list as
long as my arm (seriously it’s a long list).
It’s not that often that a beauty launch really captivates
me and this one really stuck out to me because not only is the packaging for
the buttersticks absolutely stunning, the products are too. Just look how
amazing they are to photograph?!
These buttersticks actually launched a little while ago (the
start of July) but I haven’t really seen them feature of many blogs which I
find super surprising as these are incredible! These buttersticks are super
hydrating and they include an SPF of 25 too. The formula is made with coconut
oil and lemon butter, which provides hydration to your lips all day.
I love how simplistic these lip balms are but how ‘high end’
they appear. I love the colour range in this collection and how you can pick
anything from an untinted balm to one with a hint of colour.
First up in the collection is naturally nude which, as you
probably will have guessed, I gravitated towards. Firstly the packaging is ROSE
GOLD. As someone who isn’t the biggest lipstick fan in the world, this is the
sort of alternative I would go for. It’s currently my handbag lipstick for when
I just want to have moisturised lips and it’s perfect for an everyday basis as
I only tend to wear lipsticks on a weekend!
Next up is the untinted lemon butter butterstick and I think
this is a great everyday through on lipstick and who doesn’t love the smell of
lemons? I love how hydrating this butterstick is and for someone who suffers
from a serious case of dry lips these sticks are a godsend for me.
If you want to still have a hint of colour but a lip balm in
one, I’d go for either this shade, which, is ‘simply rose’, or ‘touch of berry’.
This is a gorgeous shade and perfect for when you want to wear a pop of colour
but still have nourished and hydrated lips.
If you had to rate this range in smells, this shade would be
number one by far. I love the smell of berries and this is a gorgeous tinted
lip balm with a hint of purple.
Lastly, is another lemon shade but this doesn’t have SPF 25
like the other shade. This lip balm still provides a lot of moisture and my
lips feel so hydrated after using this.
If I had to pick my favourites from this range it would be naturally
nude followed by lemon butter. I think that these lip balms are a great summer
staple, especially if you’re like me and when you go on holiday you don’t like
wearing too much make up and you like to go for the more ‘au natural’ look.
What do you think of this range? Which lip balm would you wear from this range?
You can pick up the Butterstick lip balms online at the Kiehls website here for £19.50 each.

I'm really tempted to try those, especially the tinted ones, because tinted lip balm is what I wear the most, it requires less maintenance than a lipstick, yet it still offers the little pop of colour which I love so much! The shade Naturally Nude looks stunning! Thank you for sharing :)
