If you’re a regular blog reader you’ll know I am a big fan
of Smashbox products. I think they are a very underrated brand in the beauty
blogging world and that some of their products really don’t get the credit they
deserve.
So many of my all time makeup favourites are by Smashbox
(including my favourite lipstick fyi!) so when they have a new release I jump
at the chance of testing it out and I may have used up all my Boots point on
this purchase…
If there is a product out there which can help minimize the
length of time I spend doing my make up in the morning, I will try it.
Especially when it comes from one of my favourite brands, Smashbox. The photo
finish primerizer promises to replenish moisture in your skin and prep it for
makeup in one step so it’s a primer and a moisturiser in one.
Created in Smashbox’s L.A photo studio this non-greasy,
quick drying formula helps prep your skin for your makeup and for it to last
all day and it’s made hyaluronic acid too.
As you can see in the photos above, the consistency is quite
watery but it blends in seamlessly and clear (it also adds a hint of radiance
too). I’ve been using this product everyday for my makeup for about 5 days now
and I absolutely love it. I think it’s great for fellow normal/dry skin girls
(like myself) and if you’re someone who gets a little lazy with applying
moisturiser from time to time this product is the perfect solution for you.
If you’re a fellow makeup junkie (I mean you probably are if
you’re reading this post!) then you’ll absolutely love this product. I think it’s
great value and it’s something I’ll use everyday before applying my makeup from
now on, so for me this gets full marks and is 100% worth the money.

I love the idea of a primer and a moisturizer reunited in one product! I'm definitely guilty of being lazy when it comes to applying primers on a daily basis, but I'm always very diligent with my skincare routine, so this could really work for me, plus I never say no to a little bit of hyaluronic acid!
