Look Fantastic is a sight that regularly seems to take all
my money. I’m sucked in by their emails, Instagram account, twitter account and
just everything they post on social media. It doesn’t help that I have a
subscription (as you all know) to their beauty box to, hence this post. So
without further ado, here’s this months Look Fantastic beauty box review.
As usual, this months box has come with a mini beauty
magazine and a copy of Elle magazine (which is pretty good this month by the
way!) and this months box includes treats from Mane n Tail, Gatineau, Korres,
Lord and Berry, Lottie London and Skin79.
First up it’s the body milk from Korres in basil lemon.
Despite the title of this, it smells gorgeous and reminds me of summertime.
This scent is very fresh and is formulated with provitamin B5, Shea Butter,
Lanolin and Jojoba oil. This ensures that your skin stays moisturised, hydrated
and supple. I think this is the perfect holiday travelling essential for your
beauty bag as it’s only 40ml in size!
Lottie London is a brand I feel is very underrated when it
comes to drugstore beauty, especially in the blogosphere. Over the past (I’d
like to say 2 years) I’ve been trying out products from the brand when I’ve
popped into my local Superdrug store. However, one thing I’ve not tried is the
lip balms. I really like the idea of this lip balm as it not only smells great it’s
the perfect size to fit inside a compartment I have in my car which I keep all
my emergency makeup in!
Gatineau Gentle Silk Cleanser - (Travel size, 50ml)
One thing the French definitely know a thing or two about
(thanks to Bioderma, La Roche Posay) is skincare. So despite having never tried
anything from Gatineau, I knew that it would be a good product. Another travel
size product (perfect for when you’re going away) this soothing cleanser helps
remove impurities from your skin and helps to leave smooth, hydrated and plump
skin. What’s great as well is that this cleanser is suited for people who have
super sensitive skin as well.
Skin79 BB Super Plus Beblesh Balm SPF 30 PA++ (Sample
Size)
Another product (like Korres), which comes from Korea, is
the brand Skin79. I always get a little put off by products like this as it’s
one of those products you feel less reluctant to try on your skin as you’re not
sure what exactly is in the product or what it all means so this (even though
it could be good) is a product I’ll be giving to a friend.
Mane n Tail Shampoo and Conditioner – (Travel size, 60ml)
This was something, which I saw in the box and puzzled me at
first, as I was really unsure about the packaging. However, after doing some
online research and reading some reviews I gave this shampoo and conditioner a
go on a recent night away (so I needed travel size toiletries!) If you’ve not
heard of Mane n Tail, they’re a US brand and their products were initially developed
for horses to keep their manes and tails shiny and soft and the formula is also
deemed suitable for humans too, weird ey? I found the conditioner (more than
the shampoo) to leave my hair feeling smooth and looking shiny.
One product, which was a slight disappointment for me, was
this eyebrow pencil from Lord and Berry, being a dark brown haired girl I
expected this shade to be a lot darker, however it’s still dark enough to use
this to fill in the front of my brows. I like using this with a super light
hand to get the most natural effect for the front of my brows.

Looks like a nice box but not the best that I've seen from Lookfantastic!

The Lottie Balm Ball looks adorable, some interesting products. I see Lord and Berry included a lot in subscription boxes, the brow pencil looks good! Thank you for sharing x
