When Em from (EmTalks) contacted me and let me know she was releasing a
beauty box with new beauty box brand on the block, Roccabox I was super excited
for her. She’s probably one of the most hardworking girls I know and she
deserves all the success that comes her way. Also, because who doesn’t love a
beauty box? If you’re a long time reader of my blog you’ll know all about my
obsession with beauty box subscriptions…
Nails Inc Nail Kale in Claremont Street - RRP £15
What is a beauty box if it doesn’t include a nail polish?
Not a beauty box! I love trying out new nail polishes and this shade from Nails
Inc is stunning. I think this is perfect for summery days (especially if you
have a tan!)
Miss Patisserie Sea Salt Bath Melt - £4.50
I’m not usually the sort of person who has baths, I’ve
always been a shower sort of girl but when I do (on the odd occasion) have a
bath, I love a bath bomb. The scent of this bath bomb/melt reminds me of the
sea and it claims to nourish your body as the bath melt is formulated with shea
butter and cocoa.
I haven’t booked a holiday this year (yet!) so I need all
the fake tanning products I can get and so I was delighted to see this mask in
the box. I know Em is a big fan of St Tropez products (and she always looks
lovely and tanned) and so I can’t wait to give this facemask a go. I’ve never
seen a ‘self tanning’ mask before but I am pretty sure this will be very much
up my street. This mask also hydrates your skin as it’s formulated with
hyaluronic acid (which is a total win win situation!)
Elemis Hydra Boost Day Cream - RRP £39
Elemis is a brand I’ve never really tried before (that I can
remember) and so I think now is the time to give their products a go as I’ve
heard nothing but good things about them. My skin is always super dehydrated
and I try so many products to change this but I still don’t think I’ve found
the dream combination of skincare products, which will keep my skin hydrated.
This cream is made up of hyaluronic acid, starflower oil and vitamin e which
means it will leave your skin feeling plump, supple and smooth.
Finally, the most exciting product in Em’s edit is this
gorgeous liquid lipstick by Smashbox. If you’re a long time reader of my blog
you’ll know how much I love Smashbox as a brand, especially their lip products.
I’ve not tried any of their liquid lipsticks yet and believe it or not this is
the exact shade I always end up swatching on my hand whenever I’m near a
Smashbox counter.
I absolutely adore this shade as it’s a pink toned nude but
it’s more nude than pink in colour. I love this as well as it literally doesn’t
budge and stays on your lips all day and so this is perfect for me and my
excessive peppermint tea drinking at work as my lipsticks always gets on my
mug!
Overall, I absolutely love Em’s edit and I think the
products she’s picked are amazing. I have found some new ones to try (Elemis
hydra boost cream and St Tropez mask) as well as having some back ups of some
of my favourites. Having never tried Roccabox before I think this box is
amazing value for £10 a month and I love how you can sign up to the box for 1
month, 3 months or 6 months too.
You can sign up to Roccabox here.
What do you think of Em’s edition? Will you be picking this
up?
