I wouldn’t say I am the worlds most confident person as you
know what? I’m not. One thing I would say is that you have to make do with what
you’ve got. Don’t dream of what you’d imagine to be the ‘perfect body’ but to
love the skin you’re in. That’s one thing in particular that I’ve learnt in the
past year and a few words of wisdom to share with you guys (well babes, cause
of course you’re all babes!)
When Bodyform contacted me about their #ChallengeBodyform
campaign, I was so thrilled to be asked to take part. Their campaign is all
about staying confident no matter what and to carry on your daily tasks and
lifestyle with ease, thanks to the Bodyform Daily Fresh Multistyle Liners.
If you’re a paranoid girl like me that you smell bad, that
you’re about to have an accident or feel strange down there then these liners
from Bodyform will save the day. They’ve allowed me to feel more comfortable
and ready for pretty much any task I might be doing whether that’s shopping,
work or sport related. The pantyliners are breathable and feel like cotton when
you’re wearing them too.
So as well as get ready for date night with my other half
(and go to Nandos too may I add) I am going to talk you guys through the tips I
have for staying confident and the make up I like to wear to feel confident
too. So let’s go…
First of all, you have to think, what makes you feel
confident? What makes you feel good about yourself? To me it’s feeling good
from within so make sure that you …
-
Get plenty of sleep - Because you know a girl
needs her beauty sleep right?
-
Have freshly cleaned hair – One thing that
ALWAYS makes me feel better without fail is clean hair (you know the kind
that’s all shiny and swishy like the head and shoulders adverts)
-
Good makeup – Because if you’re reading this
post you’re probably a bit of a makeup junkie and you like that extra boost
that make up gives you to feel good.
So what makeup do I love at the moment? Quite a lot of the
makeup I love is high end, but I also love drugstore products too. These are the products I’ve been loving at the moment and
what I reach for when I want to be date night ready.
This foundation is my absolute holy grail. I never see many
bloggers (if any) taking about this and I really don’t know why. I love how
hydrating this foundation is and how it’s buildable to generate more coverage.
Maybeline Big Colossal Mascara - £6.99
I don’t know why but I have never actually tried waterproof
mascara and it’s revolutionised my life. This mascara makes a lot of volume and
length to my lashes.
NARS Blusher in Orgasm - £23
This is a seriously underrated blusher. When you look at the
colour in the pan it looks like a bright peach shade, when in fact it’s not
that bold in colour and pigmentation. I love using this to create a more natural
look.
Revlon ColorStay Concealer - £6.99
I’m a big fan of this concealer from Revlon and it’s a
perfect match to my skintone. I use this to concealer spots, blemishes and dark
circles. On minimal makeup days, I tend to not use foundation but just dab this
concealer where it’s needed on my face.
Benefit Gimme Brow Gel - £20
Possibly the most underrated benefit product, the gimme brow
is an absolute necessity for me. I love how it picks up and coats every single
brow hair and makes my brows look more defined.
I love this concealer, I’ve probably gone through about 6 or
7 of these now?! It seems madness really but this concealer is so good. I use
this as an under eye highlight as they don’t do a darker shade which would be
an actual ‘concealer’ shade for me.
How stunning is this eye shadow palette? The colours of this
palette are stunning and they are SERIOUSLY pigmented. I really like creating
eye shadow looks with this palette as they’re different to what I would usually
go for. So my makeup is all done, what's next on the list? Nandos with my boyfriend as lets face it what sort of girl doesn't want peri peri chicken and chips?!
What are your tips for staying confident? What do you do to get date night ready?
*I worked with Bodyform on this post but all thoughts, views and opinions are my own*

These are amazing tips! Sleep and makeup are definitely my top picks!

I think I only started having more body confidence this year. For the longest time my life revolves around the weighing scale, I was paranoid with everything; is my face to fat and round, why my hips are large, why my butt is so flat but with age, that all went away. These days my mind and body is so much healthier so I don't even weigh myself anymore. As long my clothes fit, I know I'm okay. Haha!

Freshly cleaned hair and good makeup definitely help! x
