If there’s one thing I love when it comes to receiving post, it’s a beauty box because who likes receiving bills, account statements and all that boring stuff… anyway I am sure you get it by now if you’re an avid reader, I love a beauty box.
This is a cleanser, which over the years has featured in a handful of beauty boxes and for good reason, it’s incredible. Known as the ‘world’s most desired cleanser’ this cleanser is suitable for all skin types and skin issues. Whenever I’ve used this in the past it’s left my skin feeling radiant and looking healthy.
Christophe Robin Cleansing Volumizing Paste - Full size, £42.50
Christophe Robin is a brand that’s popped up a few times in previous beauty boxes and I’ve always loved trying out the products, which have been in the boxes. This volumising paste has rassoul clay and rose extracts which will help give density to your hair but it always protects and preserves your hair colour at the same time.
Illamasqua Mini Contouring Gel Sculpt in Silhouette - Full size, £25
As you can see, this contouring stick from Illamasqua isn’t that great on my dark skin tone, but for lighter skin tones I’m sure you’ll love this contour stick. If you’re into the ‘no makeup makeup look’ this is an ideal product to add into your makeup collection. It’s a great colour pay off and I’d recommend blending this in with a beauty sponge.
Decleor Hydra Floral Hydrating Gel Cream - Full size, £40
Surprisingly, this was one of the products I was really interested about in this months’ edition. This cream is formulated with moringa olifeira extract and neroli oils, which promise to hydrate your skin and keep your skin looking radiant. You can always use this cream as a primer for your makeup too, I mean who doesn’t love a two in one product?
Another exciting edition to this months box is Look Fantastics’ own brand eye shadow brush as a special edition for the birthday box. I really do hope they plan on extended the range as this brush is gorgeous but also it’s so nice to look at as well as who wouldn’t love a unicorn style makeup brush?
Hikari Eyeshadow Quad in Tonya
It’s an exciting time when there’s eye shadow palette in a beauty box, especially when the colours are as beautiful as this. I found this palette to be highly pigmented and the colours to be very wearable. The palest shade is a great base colour; I like using the golden shade in my crease and the rose gold and dark brown shades in my outer corners of my eyes to add more depth.
Overall, I am so impressed with this month’s edition and unfortunately now it’s sold out (boo!) but you can pre-order the next edition of the Look Fantastic Beauty Box here.
Have you tried out any of these products? What do you think of this months beauty box?
