If you’ve been an avid reader of my blog for the past year
you’ll know I absolutely love Clarins products. I’ve been using the Everlasting Foundation + for the past 18 months and my love for Clarins products grew from
their so I thought I’d share with you all their latest collection.
Saturday was probably one of the most exciting days when it
came to blogger mail as I received a gorgeous package from Clarins, full of the
range (minus the blusher as I already bought this) which I’ve been staring at
in my local Boots ever since the collection launched in August. The whole range
is gorgeous and I can’t wait to continue testing this range out!
Clarins Everlasting Cushion Foundation SPF 50 in 110 Honey - £31
I didn’t think I could love this foundation formula anymore
and now it’s become a cushion foundation! This foundation is perfect for on the
go and it’s going to live in my handbag from now on. The formula of this
foundation is made with organic quinoa extract, which helps maintain your skins
moisture levels and leaves your skin looking really healthy.
I’ve used this foundation for the past two days and I really
like this so far, it’s just as good (if not better) than the original
foundation and is so nice for when you just want a light coverage or for the
times you want to build the coverage so you can control how much you use
easier.
(L-R) Clarins Lip Pencil 06 Red - £17.50*
Clarins Joli Rouge Lipstick in 754 Deep Red - £20*
Despite being a huge fan of Clarins blushers, foundations
and skincare I have never tried any lip products from the brand. What I love
about this collection is that there is a daytime and a night-time lipstick.
This red lipstick and red lip liner are a perfect match for evening wear and
what I love about this duo is that the lipstick is so moisturising and the lip
liner is intense but not to over the top.
The perfect day time duo this lipstick and lip liner are a
gorgeous match and I love how the colour looks on my skin tone. The lipstick is
extremely moisturising and the lip liner is the sort of colour you can wear all
over for a matte look.
I’ve been a huge fan of Clarins blushers for a long time and
this blusher has been my absolute favourite for about 6 week now. It’s a
gorgeous rose gold shade with the perfect amount of shimmer. I’m sad this is
limited edition but I feel like this will last for a very long time as a little
goes a long way!
Ombre Matte Cream Eyeshadow in 10 Midnight Blue - £19*
I’ve been trying to use more colour in my eye shadow looks
and I absolutely love this cream eye shadow in midnight blue. It’s such a
stunning colour and I love how intense it is. This is so easy to blend and I can’t
wait to try out a smokey eye look with this cream eye shadow.
My favourite (aside from the foundation and the blusher) in
this whole post is this eye shadow palette. I’ve noticed the trend of green eye
shadow online but I’ve never had any green shadows in my make up collection to
try out and I am so excited to wear these. As you can see from the swatches,
they’re incredibly pigmented shadows and just scream autumn/winter wear. The
green shades are so rich and intense and the pale champagne colour is a perfect
base shade.
What’s even better about these eye shadows is that they’ve
been formulated for wet (and dry) use as well which makes them even better for
creating experimental eye looks with.
What do you think of Clarins' Autumn/Winter Collection? Will you be picking up the cushion compact foundation?
