It feels like an
awfully long time since I dedicated a blog post to an eye shadow palette but it
takes a REALLY GOOD eye shadow palette for me to dedicate a whole blog post to
it. I’ll tell you that for sure.
For probably what feels like the longest time I’ve watched
Allana Davison. She’s a Canadian Youtuber and I’ve watched her since she had
20,000 subscribers and she’s nearly at 400k! But recently she posted a tutorial
with this DREAM of an eye shadow palette which you can watch yourself here.
I eagerly searched online to find a UK stockist for the
palette but had no luck. About a week later, I was searching Beauty Bay’s new
in section like the obsessive beauty shopper I am, and there it was. It was
like I’d won the lottery and I ordered it RIGHT AWAY. However It’s currently
out of stock on Beauty Bay, you can still order it on ASOS here. So as you can tell, I really like this palette so let's move on to the shades inside...

What I love about this palette is how it covers all possible
occasions for a neutral eye shadow lover. There are matte shades and shimmer
and they are all incredibly pigmented as you can see from the swatches above.
My favourite shades in this palette are Toasty, Iconic and Fools Gold. I find that for an everyday themed look I go
for Toasty as a base with a bit of Iconic in my crease.
At the weekend I like to use Toasty as a base, Henna and
Iconic in the crease and Fools Gold all over my lids, which looks amazing, and
SO CHRISTMASSY.
So if you’re looking for a palette to help you survive the Christmas
period I’d get onto ASOS right now (especially if you have premier delivery!)
