Can you believe it’s nearly the end of January? I still feel
like the year is only just beginning. However, you know what the end of the
month means? MONTHLY FAVOURITES. This month is no exception, some you’ll be
able to predict and some are new editions to my make-up collection (or dupes
for higher end products I already own) and the prices range from budget
friendly to a higher end budget, but not over £30 so it’s not breaking the
bank.
Makeup Revolution Concealer in the shade C8 - £4 from Tam Beauty
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, everyone who’s
interested in beauty has been talking about this concealer online and how it’s
a dupe to Tarte Shape Tape concealer. I’ve never tried Tarte Shape Tape,
but I have to say for £4, this concealer
is a must-have buy as the coverage you get from it is incredible.
Make-up Revolution Luxury Banana Powder - £5 from Tam Beauty
Despite, not being packaged amazingly, I really like this
powder from Make-up revolution as you can’t beat it on price as it’s only £5.
When I’m using eye shadows which is likely to have fall out, I make sure that
once I’ve done my base make-up that I powder underneath my eyes so I can jut
sweep the fall out away. This is also a good enough powder to help set under my
eyes all day to minimise creasing.
Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil in Shade 4 - £20 from Boots
I wasn’t that keen on this brow pencil at first but now I
absolutely love it. This is such a good pencil for creating a ‘natural’ brow
without looking too over the top. I’ve had this for a while now but never really used this
constantly until now!
Niod Photography Fluid, Opacity 12% - £21 from Escentual
If you’re looking for a quick fix to golden/dewy skin then I’d
suggest you purchase this pretty much immediately. You only need a couple of
drops of this to go a long way and I use this sometimes as a primer/base before
I use my foundation. This fluid is designed to add radiance to the skin and
make you look even better in photos (and Jamie Genevieve loves this also!)
Lancome Monsieur Big Mascara - £21 from Boots
This mascara is SERIOUSLY underrated in the beauty blogging
world. I’ve owned this about 6 months or so and use it everyday without fail as
it makes my lashes look so good! (People even ask if I’m wearing false lashes)
. Also you know it’s good when your two favourite bloggers Anna and Lily rave
about this mascara now as well!
Huda Beauty Warm Brown Obsessions Palette - £25 from Cult Beauty
As you can see from the photo of this palette I have used
this A LOT. I absolutely love this palette and it’s my go-to for a really quick
make-up look and the shadows blend so well. I can’t wait to add some more Huda
Beauty into my make-up collection!
Charlotte Tilbury Contour Wand - £29 from John Lewis
& Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Light Wand - £29 from John Lewis
These wands from Charlotte Tilbury are an absolute DREAM. I
might just be obsessed with them as I use them everyday without fail. They make
your make-up look so natural and when you blend the highlight/contour in with a
beauty blender it helps you achieve a flawless finish.
BareMinerals BarePro Foundation in 18 Pecan - £29 from Boots
I’ve always struggled in finding the perfect shade of
foundation due to my olive skin tone but this shade is 100% correct for my skin
and I love it. I love the formula of this foundation as it even stays on while
I’m at the gym! This is my second bottle of this foundation and I’m sure I’ll
be purchasing this many more times.
Kiehls Creme De Corpe Nourishing Dry Body Oil - £35
Kiehls Creme De Corpe Nourishing Dry Body Oil - £35
After being the fan of facial oils for so long I knew I had to try a body oil and this is an absolute dream. I have suffered from dry skin since becoming a gym goer and this has sorted out any potential dry skin and what's great with this a little goes a long way!
