Birchbox are known for their amazing designs for each box
each month and this month’s box is no different. This month’s Birchbox edition
has a real 90’s/retro feel to it. This month’s box includes treats from Bumble
and Bumble, Percy and Reed, Modelco, The Beauty Crop and Sebamed.
You’ll notice that there is a product missing in this months
review but that’s because when it arrived the eye shadow trio was smashed
(nooo!) however, that did not stop me from reviewing this months box as there’s
some really great brands inside.
The Beauty Crop Eyeshadow Trio is the product which broke but if you click on the link you can see how gorgeous the colours are. The shades are perfect for creating a gorgeous nighttime eye look.
SebaMed Antibacterial Cleansing Foam (Travel Size)
Sebamed is a brand I’ve never heard of before but I am sure it’s a brand I’ll be hearing a lot more about. This cleansing foam helps to deeply cleanse your ores and also protects against skin damage during cleansing. I can see myself buying a full size version of this cleansing foam pretty pronto!
Percy and Reed Finishing Polish (Travel Size)
Percy and Reed is a brand, which I’ve tried in the past but
not tried, in a long time so I was excited to see a Percy and Reed product
(which I haven’t tried) in this month’s edition. This is a lightweight polish
is infused with horse chesnut and intends to smooth your hair as well as add
moisture and shine. I used this a few days ago as I had a few ‘flyaways’ when I
created an up do hairstyle.
Bumble and Bumble Thickening Spray (Travel Size)
I feel like I am not a proper blogger, as I have never tried
any Bumble and Bumble products before! I have heard a lot about them through
following Lily and Anna online. This spray can be used before blow-drying your
hair or before heat styling in general. This spray helps gives a volumising boost,
which is perfect if you feel your hair, is looking limp and needs that extra va
va voom. What actually stuck out me when I used this spray is that it
didn’t leave my hair feeling sticky or greasy.
ModelCo Creme Rouge Blush (Full size, £14)
One brand I’d love to see more of is ModelCo. I’ve tried a
few of their products thanks to my beauty box subscriptions but I am yet to
find a website/beauty retailer where this brand is stocked…
This is quite a garish shade for a blusher but once you
swatch this shade it’s a lot less intense then it looks in the packaging. I
think this blusher would look great as a tinted lip balm as well. Who doesn’t
love a two in one product?!
What do you think of this months Birchbox edition? If you
hurry, you can also get this months Birchbox for only £5 using this link.
