It feels like an absolute life time since I last published a
blog post, and let’s just say life has been a little hectic for me right now
but I am really going to make an effort to set some time aside for blogging as
that’s what I really love doing. From now on I’m going to be planning my
content as best as I can as I want to be able to help you guys in which ever
way I can (whether that’s make-up,
lifestyle, fashion or travel!)
When I first bought this brow product a few months back I
wasn’t that impressed but now I am OBSESSED with this. I think it’s as things
have been more hectic with my life I have been looking for easier ways to fix
my make up quickly. I use this tint the night before and leave it on for about
20 minutes and it’s so easy to just peel off and it makes your brows look super
defined as well. So this brow product gets a massive thumbs up from me!
Okay so ever since having the YSL All Hours Foundation in my
life, I knew I needed to try out a YSL primer and this was recommended to me by
the make-up consultant on the YSL counter. This primer combines an advanced
technology and the magic of touché éclat, which creates the perfect illuminated
base. I’ve noticed when I wear this that my pores are visibly a lot smaller and
my foundation goes on amazingly afterwards.
This foundation from YSL is an absolute dream, I’ve always
wanted to achieve flawless skin like those models on make-up adverts and this
foundation does the trick! You may have read me raving about this foundation in
last month’s monthly make-up bag post. Whenever I’m going out for the evening or if I need an extra
confidence boost I love wearing this foundation as it just makes me feel super
confident. If you’re looking for a new foundation I’d highly recommend
grabbing a sample of this from your local YSL counter.
MAC Prep and Prime in Light Boost - £21 from ASOS
If you’re looking for the secret to glowing skin, then I’d
recommend this product from MAC to anyone. Prep and Prime you twist up to use
and I use this under my eyes to create a glowy, luminous, highlighted look. You
can apply this under or over make-up, it can be used as a concealer and it’s
super lightweight and easy to blend in with a beauty blender.
Urban Decay All Nighter Concealer in Med-Light Neutral - £20 from Debenhams
If you’ve been a regular reader of my blog you’ll know how
much I adore the Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer in Medium-Light Neutral. I’ve
been through numerous concealers and the coverage it gives is just perfect.
After really liking the all nighter foundation, I knew I had to try this and
this concealer and it did not disappoint. It gives super full coverage and is
perfect for concealing spots, pigmentation and dark circles.
MAC Extra Dimension Skin Finish in Oh Darling - £25.50 from ASOS
This highlighter was a Jamie Genevieve recommendation from
one of her videos and I’m obsessed. This highlighter looked amazing on her and
I knew I had to own it. I have used this highlighter everyday without fail and
I’ve received a lot of compliments since wearing this as well. What I love
about this highlighter is that it looks just as good at the end of the day as
it does once you apply it.
Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow in Light/Medium - £49 from John Lewis
Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow is such a cult
product and every single woman (or man) who loves make-up needs this in their
collection. I use this pretty much everyday and every time I wear this I feel
like one of those Charlotte Tilbury models as it gives you such a natural glow.
NARS Soft Matte Concealer in the shade Macadamia - £24 from ASOS
I think this concealer is super underrated in the beauty
blogging world. It’s high coverage, easy to blend and is amazing to carve out
your brows with if you’re going for more of a defined look. I have had this
concealer probably over a year now and I’m pretty sure it’s ever lasting as I
still have SO MUCH left to use.
If you’re looking for the perfect eyeshadow base then look
no further than the MAC pro longwear paint pots. I’ve used soft ochre,
painterly and now I’ve moved onto using layin’ low. I love how these last
forever and make sure my eye shadow lasts all day.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam Palette - £42 from Beauty Bay
If you’ve been reading my last few blog posts you’ll know I
am a little obsessed with this palette. I have used this everyday since owning
it and you can create so many amazing looks with it. I love the glitter shades
as they are so pigmented and the matte shades are so easy to blend. If you’re
looking for a showstopper of an eye shadow palette you will love this.
BareMinerals Gen Nude Blush in Peachy Keen - £22 from Boots
When it comes to ‘natural’ make-up BareMinerals is the brand
you need to get used to. I love how their make-up is so natural and just make
you look super glowy without trying to hard. Recently I picked up one of their
new gen nude blushes in the shade ‘Peachy Keen’ after seeing it be featured on
loads of YouTube videos and I wasn’t disappointed. It adds such a gentle flush
to my cheeks without looking over the top. I’d recommend trying this out next
time you’re in the market for a new blusher!
Benefit BADgal Bang! Volumising Mascara - £21.50 from Boots
This mascara has been the biggest beauty launch of 2018 so
far and rightly so as I am OBSESSED with this mascara. At first I wasn’t as
keen as I thought it made my lashes look clumpy but after a few uses this
mascara made my lashes look incredible. This mascara can last up to 36 hours
and creates a lot of volume at the same time. I have to feather the application
of the mascara to get the best results.
