If you’ve been a reader of my blog for a long time, you’ll
know I love Fragrance Direct. Even before I blogged (9 years ago now) one of my
first online purchases was picking up Marc Jacobs Daisy from Fragrance Direct
as that was the only place I could afford it (and I think it had free delivery
as well!)
Whenever it’s anyone I loves birthday or just a special
occasion I always check online to see the fragrances in they’re new in section
as I can really trust their customer service and delivery (as well as the
price) which makes the brand number one for me. So it was amazing to find out
they have a brand new app which I’ll be letting you know all about my
experience using it in this post!
If you’ve never heard of Fragrance Direct they sell all your
favourite perfumes (cheaper) than the RRP. They also sell well-known make-up
brands like MAC, NARS as well as your budget favourites including W7 and
Technic.
I remember when I was at university and writing my
dissertation, I chose to write about how bloggers influenced our shopping
habits. This involved a lot of researching and I remember reading a study on
how by the year 2018 over 75% of our shopping online will be done through apps.
I thought it was ridiculous when I read it at the time, but who doesn’t love
shopping from your phone in this day and age?!
The app also comes with a super cool feature to scan
barcodes so if you’re out and want to see if fragrance direct is cheaper you can
check if it is really quickly and you’ll also love the fact you can make a wish
list to and heart it like you would on ASOS! I couldn’t help but make a few
purchases on the app as who doesn’t want to spoil them selves every now and
again? I also had to test the app just in case you guys end up downloading it. So
let the Fragrance Direct haul begin…
Lacoste Eau De Lacoste L.12.12 Pour Elle Elegant 90ml - (RRP £55) cost £23.95 *
I now own pretty much all the fragrances from this range and
it’s my favourite! Also I have got 90ml for £23, how much of a bargain is
that?! Elegant is probably the less floral version of the Eau De Lacoste range
as Natural & Sparkling are quite sweet, floral scents. Elegant is a very
fresh scent and it has notes of citrus complex, pink pepper and cassis making
it the perfect scent to opt for this summer.
YSL Black Opium Floral Shock Eau De Parfum Spray 30ml - (RRP £50.50) Cost £43.95*
Black Opium has always been one of the more expensive
perfumes I have in my collection and it’s a perfume I only tend to wear on
special occasions. Black Opium is a fresh scent with notes of Pear, Orange
Blossom, Vanilla and Coffee. Floral Shock is a little bit sweeter than Black
Opium and I actually think I prefer it, also how gorgeous is this bottle as
well?!
MAC Prep and Prime Highlighter in Light Boost - (RRP £21) cost £19*
I think MAC prep and prime is very underrated in the beauty
blogging world. It’s turned into one of my favourite products in my make-up
collection as it just works wonders when it comes to highlighting your skin. I
use it on days where my dark circles under my eyes are more prominent and it
helps give a glowy and more awake look.
How amazing is it that you can even by MAC products at a
reduced price on Fragrance Direct?! I took the opportunity to pick up MAC
Spirit which is a lipstick which has been on my must have beauty list for a
LONG time and I haven’t regretted it as this is the perfect nude shade for my
skin tone.
Overall, I’ve been so happy with my experience with using
the Fragrance Direct app it’s definitely going in my shopping folder on my
phone! The delivery was free and super quick and within 2 days the delivery was
at my door. Also, if you’re fancying a cheeky purchase you can get 15% off
using the code ‘APP15’ so you’ll save EVEN more on your purchases.
HAPPY
SHOPPING!
