Unless you’ve been living under a rock or several rocks you’ll know that IT Cosmetics has now launched online and in selected Boots stores. So you can imagine my delight when they got in contact and I was able to try out a couple of products from the brand.
About 18 months/2 years ago I first heard about IT Cosmetics. I knew it was a brand which was available in the USA but I haven’t been there since I was really young and so there was not much hope for me when I was desperate to try the brand! I heard about it through watching The Anna Edit and Hello October on YouTube and I tend to really trust their recommendations so I knew IT cosmetics products must be good. So last week when a parcel which including the Your Skin but Better CC Cream SPF 50+, Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer and the Superhero Super Black Mascara arrived at my door I squealed with excitement. So here comes the reviews...
IT Cosmetics Your Skin but Better CC Cream SPF 50+ - £30 from Boots*
If you’re looking for a foundation which gives you skin the coverage it needs on holiday, then this CC cream will be your go to. I mean it has SPF 50 in it! I find that my skin feels very hydrated when I’ve used this and my pores appear reduced as well as having that perfect flawless finish which we all want! The CC cream is also infused with hyaluronic acid, antioxidants, vitamins and hydrolyzed collagen which will all leave your skin feeling plump and looking super smooth. One thing I’d say though is to buy what you think matches to your shade, not a shade lighter as you can see from the swatch on my hand it oxidizes a little!
This product from IT Cosmetics is award winning and if that’s not enough persuasion to make you buy it then I’m not sure what is… this concealer gives full coverage that seriously LASTS ALL DAY. I’m telling you… I went to the gym, supermarket, work and concealer just did not budge. By the end of the day my skin looked just as good as when I applied the concealer that morning and it’s completely hidden my dark under eyes! So if you’re suffering from a bad case of dark circles, bags, redness or other imperfections which you want to cover then I’d highly recommend trying this.
Superhero Super Black Mascara - £19 from Boots*
The product which really surprised me of the bunch (because I’d heard about the bye bye under eye concealer and your skin but better cc cream already) was the Superhero mascara. If you like the Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara then you’ll absolutely adore this. I prefer this to the Too Faced one! It lengthens your lashes without them looking clumpy and adds an incredible amount of volume. It’s been an absolute must in my makeup routine and even when I go to the gym with only a little bit of concealer on, I can’t go without using this mascara now!
