If you’ve been reading my blog a really long time, you’ll
know I love a beauty box and so I was so excited to see that Glossybox has
released a limited edition vegan beauty box. The box contains 10 products,
which are worth over £80, and if you’re a Glossybox subscriber you can pick up
your vegan beauty box for only £25! Amazing right? And if you’re not a
Glossybox subscriber, you can still pick this up for £30. Now onto the review…
As I mentioned previously, this beauty box is packed with 10
products worth £80. The brands included in this box are Kat Von D, Pure Chimp,
Noughty Haircare, So Eco, Tropic Skincare, Maria Nila, Dr Organic, Tints of
Nature, Weleda and Original Source.
I’ve never actually tried anything from Dr Organic before
(that I can recall) but I have heard a lot about this brand. This is a super
hydrating organic moisturiser, which is packed with Vitamin E, Aloe Vera, Shea
Butter, Cocoa Butter and Sweet Almond Oil. You can use this on your face &
body on any dry skin or areas, which need a little bit more moisture. This
cream can also be used on mature skin, stretch marks and scars as well. This
cream is also paraben free, silicone free and fragrance free. Can this cream do
any wrong? I think not.
Tints of Nature Hydrating Shampoo (Full size is £6.99)
If there’s one thing I love in a beauty box it’s a hair care
product. I find that hair care products can be very expensive and so with
beauty boxes you can trial them out first! This shampoo is made using natural
and organic ingredients, which leave your hair cleansed and moisturised. This shampoo is also free from any damaging
salts and sulphates too and smells like berries!
Cellulite is something every single woman has but would like
to get rid of… you can say goodbye to cellulite with this natural treatment
which is formulated to firm, smooth and tone your skin. This oil is made with
organic birch leaf extract, apricot, wheat germ and jojoba. If you want to see
results quickly, apply this in circular motions twice a day and apparently, in
just 4 weeks you’ll be able to see results.
Original Source Lemon and Lime Foaming Shower Gel - £3
If you love the smell of lemons and limes you’ll absolutely
ADORE this shower gel. This shower gel turns into foam when applied and this
can double up as shaving foam as well. This one bottle can last up to 35 washes as
well which is really good value for money. I’ll definitely be repurchasing this
when it runs out!
Maria Nila Head & Hair Heal Masque - £26.99
I remember a little while back I tried a conditioner and
shampoo from this brand and I really liked them and so I was so excited to see
this masque in this special edition beauty box. This is a multifunctional hair mask
to leave your scalp feeling healthy as well as make your hair stronger and
appear shinier. This masque can help prevent dandruff, itchy scalps and help
with hair growth at the same time. I’m yet to give this hair masque a go, so I’ll
report back if I notice any results.
I was so excited to see ANOTHER hair care product in this
limited edition box and it’s from a brand I’ve not actually come across before,
Noughty Haircare. This is an anti-frizz serum will smooth and hydrate your hair
and it’s packed with argan oil and sweet almond oil. This serum can also
protect your hair when you’re styling it as well up to 220 degrees. The best
way to apply this is to damp hair and only using a pea sized amount.
So Eco Eye Shading Brush - £5
So Eco is a brand I’ve been using a long time and so I was
excited to add another brush to my make-up collection. This is the sort of
brush you can use to pack on the colour as its flat but you could also use this
as a liner underneath your eyes as well.
Pure Chimp Matcha Green Tea - £4.95
Everyone loves a cup of tea and this matcha green tea is
good for your health as well. Apparently, green tea can help boost your
metabolism and help improve your concentration as well. To use this all you
have to do is mix ½ a teaspoon with hot water. You can also use this in juices,
smoothies and baking as well!
Can you believe we’re still having a heat wave here in the
UK?! I can’t believe how long it’s been going on for… however this means my
skin is so dry compared to normal and that includes my lips as well. This
natural lip conditioner by Tropic Skincare has literally SAVED my dry lips as
well as making them look more plump and it has a bit of a rosy tint as well.
This liner by Kat Von D is something I’ve used for a really
long time so I was excited to add a new one to my make-up stash. This is a
really highly pigmented liner and is waterproof and transfer resistant too.
What’s not to love?!
