Cohorted August Beauty Box Review

Cohorted beauty boxes I think seem to go under the radar a little, I am not really sure why as they are always SO good. If you’ve not come across Cohorted before they are beauty box company which create ‘luxury’ beauty boxes which retail at £35, an absolute bargain when the products inside always retail at the £100+ mark. This months box includes treats from Laura Geller, Gucci, Space Masks, Sachajaun and Paul Yacomine. 

Space Masks Self Heating Eye Mask (£15 for a pack of 5)

Who doesn’t love a sheet mask? I was so excited to see an eye mask in this months box and it’s self-heating too! This mask helps relieve any eye tension, stress and headaches by calming you with it’s heating up properties. I haven’t tried this just yet but I definitely will after a long day!

Gucci Impact Longwear Eye Pencil in Dark Blue with Sharpener

Who would have thought there’d be a Gucci product in a beauty box?! I mean, I was just excited to see a Gucci pencil sharpener… this is a highly pigmented colour and would be perfect for creating smokey eye looks!

Sachajuan Hair In The Sun & After The Sun duo (£31)

How handy is this duo? I mean, especially if you’re going on holiday! I’ve never heard of Sachajuan before but they’re a Swedish professional hair care brand, which is natural and created with ocean silk technology. 

There are two products in this duo; Hair in the sun protects your hair and hair colour from the sun with a UV filter that will stay in the hair even after a bath or shower! Hair after the sun helps to condition and moisturise the hair after it’s had exposure to the sunlight. You could even leave this in as a treatment mask.

 Paul Yacomine Microfinish No2. Organic Essential Oils 

Another brand I’ve never actually heard of before is Paul Yacomine. This is a mixture of oils that you can use on damp or dry hair to condition or weigh them down. This ‘essentially’ is a conditioner and a styling product in one.  I’m yet to use this product but I’ll report back when I do!

Laura Geller Illuminating Stick in Glided Honey (£21)

If you’ve been a follower of my blog for a long time, you’ll know I love the glided honey highlighter from Laura Geller. So you can imagine my excitement, which I saw the highlighter in ‘stick’ form in this months box! I have to say; I am loving the cream formula as you can layer it depending on how intense you want the highlight to look! It’s so handy in stick form too as you can use it really precisely and also over your décolletage for an extra glow.
