It’s no secret that I’m a big fan of the Look Fantastic
beauty boxes. I think it’s great to be able to get the latest copy of Elle
Magazine as well as a great selection of beauty products from only £13* per
month. Which, is not bad, considering that a copy of Elle is £4 and you’re
getting 6 products as well for less than £9 more.
This months box includes treats from Monu Skincare, Prai, Dr
Lipp, Pixi, Ahava and Talika. One thing I was definitely happy about with this
month’s box is that it had a full sized product from one of my favourite
brands, Pixi and a ‘bubble’ face mask to try out! So let's get onto this month's box...
Prai Throat & Decolletage Cream - (Sample Size, Full Size £24.99)
Prai is a brand I’ve never heard of before, but after having
a quick look online before I started using this product, I could see there was
a LOT of positive reviews online. What I was shocked about was finding out that
your neck ages faster than your face! Mad right?! So if you’re a bit ‘anal’
over skincare and paranoid about getting older (aren’t we all) then this
product is for you. This cream is a weightless formula, which absorbs into your
skin really quickly. This can improve the look of droopy skin, crepey skin and
of course the dreaded double chin!
Pixi Fresh Face Blush - (Full Size, £16)
Pixi is a brand I love dearly. I have used this brand for
years and years and one of my Holy Grail products is the glow tonic. I am
actually on my 4th bottle as it’s something I always repurchase when
I’ve run out. However, saying that, I have tried a lot of Pixi skincare and use
a lot of Pixi skincare on a daily basis, I’ve never really dabbled into the
makeup side of the products they have, until now. I absolutely adore this
blusher! It’s such a gorgeous rosy shade, which is easily buildable, depending
on what sort of look you want to go for.
Ahava Mineral Body Lotion - (Sample Size, Full Size £23.49)Ahava is another brand which I haven’t come across before which was in this months box. This is a body lotion which uses the power of dead sew water (mad right?!) which is rich in things like magnesium and calcium which help increase the amount of moisture which your skin has. This is going to be an essential for me as the weather gets colder as my skin gets very dry!
Monu Night Renewal Complex - (Sample Size, Full Size £44.50)
Monu is a brand I’ve actually used on and off for a really
long time. I have always been impressed with their products but I have never
tried this product before. The renewal complex helps to rejuvenate your skin
while you sleep as it contains Marine Collagen and Polysacchirades, which can
help prevent the signs of aging on the skin. I am yet to try this, but I’ll
report back once I have!
Talika Bubble Mask Bio Detox - (Full Size, £8.50)
If you’ve followed me for a long time on my social media
channels you’ll know I love facemasks. They are one of my favourite things to
do when it comes to taking some time out especially to de-stress and what I
like is you’re helpful your skin at the same time as relaxing.
Talika is a
brand I’ve not actually come across before (there seems to be a lot of brands I
haven’t come across) in this months box. This facemask can help transform your
skin, just after one use. This mask is a foaming charcoal mask, which can help
detox your skin, hydrate your skin and unclog pores. I can’t wait to try this
out!
Dr Lipp Elderberry Lip Tint - (Full Size, £12)
Dr Lipp is a brand I’ve used a few times before, I really
like the Nipple Balm product they have. Yes It’s a very strange name for a
product but it’s a great multi-functional product. You can use this on dry
lips, moisturise dry skin, to create a long lasting lipgloss and to prime
makeup as well as if you breastfeed, a nipple balm. I have the Elderberry lip tint which has actually been living in my handbag as an essential when my lips are dry!
