It’s not often that in the 9 years I’ve been blogging that I’m speechless but recently there has been two packages I’ve been sent in the post which have just made me pretty much hyperventilate! One of those parcels was from the lovely team over at Charlotte Tilbury. If you’ve been reading my blog for a long time, you’ll know all about my obsession with Charlotte Tilbury, ever since I bought my first CT product a couple of years ago. Since then, I’ve accumulated and treated myself to so much from her range and her products are incredible. I am so so grateful that my blog has given me the opportunity to work with one of my favourite all-time brands!
However, onto the post… you may have noticed in and around the blogosphere that the new ‘magic under eye concealer’ has been talked about an awful lot and sorry to follow the crowd with my opinion on this concealer, but it’s INCREDIBLE. At first, I really wasn’t sure how I would feel with their being a sponge application applicator, but it’s unreal. I love how a little bit of this concealer goes a long way, it doesn’t make your skin look dry, it just makes your skin look radiant! I wore this recently at a gym session and my make up still looked as good as when I applied it over 12 hours before!

Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter in Shade 4 - £30*
Receiving this product was a total happy coincidence as I
have nearly run out of mine so now I have a back up! Hollywood Flawless filter,
in my opinion is a really underrated product. This product gives the effect of
a ‘blurring’ primer, a glow like a highlighter with a (half decent) amount of
coverage as well. I use this product in a variety of ways including as a
highlighter, under foundation for an ‘added glow’ and sometimes I mix this in
with foundation or concealer just to create a ‘dewy’ and ‘natural’ look.
I’ve never been a fan of ‘setting powders’. I have always
been a fan of setting sprays as I have always found these a lot easier to
use. However, right now I’m officially a
fan of loose powder thanks to this loose powder from Charlotte Tilbury. Branded
the ‘genius’ magic powder, this light diffusing powder is extremely fine (it’s
like you’re not even putting product on your face) this powder helps to mattify
the t-zone as well as boosts radiance and helps reduce the appearance of dark
shadows.
I’ve used this powder before I went to the gym, I’ve also
used it when I’ve had work but also in the evening when I have gone out and I
have to say my make-up has stayed on like a dream when I’ve been wearing this,
so I would highly recommend.
I’ve watched videos of my favourite YouTube content creators
rave about this concealer for the past few weeks and read online on my
favourite blogs about how good this concealer is so I knew I just had to try
it. I have to say this is 100% one of my favourite concealers I’ve ever tried
(even more so than the Urban Decay Naked Skin concealer!) and the coverage that
this concealer gives is incredible. I have this concealer in two shades, which
are Shade 5, and 7, as my skin was a little bit in-between the two.
I love how this applies,
as it’s so smooth on the skin. It doesn’t dry my skin out and I love how it
leaves my skin looking illuminated. This
concealer gets a massive 10/10 from me!
