This time last week I had just finished the gym, cooked my
dinner and I was anxious, as I was about to go to London for a blogger event,
it was actually my first blogger event in about (2) years! Mad right? But it
was all for a good cause, for one of my favourite beauty box brands, Glossybox.
So I thought it would only be right to combine the box review & event
together in a blog post as I had a lovely time! So firstly, onto the box…
For me, Glossybox can’t really go wrong right now and I have
to say there past 3 or 4 boxes have been incredible. However, in my opinion,
this box has really set the standard. This box includes treats from Thierry
Mugler, Huda Beauty, Vitamasques, Regenerate, Luxie Beauty and one of my
favourite nail brands, Nails Inc.
Vitamasques is a face mask brand I’ve known and loved for a
long time (thanks to my addiction to beauty boxes) so I was delighted to see a
mask I hadn’t tried in this months box. This mask helps to moisturise your skin
for a healthy glow as it’s packed with nourishing vitamins.
If you’ve not heard of Vitamasques but you’re a skincare fan
then you NEED to treat yourself to a couple of masks, they are literally so
good. I tried this mask shortly after
taking this photo and I can confirm, it’s great and leaves my skin super
hydrated. I would 100% repurchase.
Luxie Beauty is a brand that I keep seeing pop up in the
beauty blogger world and for good reason as there brushes are amazing! This
contouring brush doubles up as a good blusher or powder brush and when I’ve
tested this brush out, my make up applies seamlessly onto my skin.
Nails Inc Nail Polish in 'Status Ready' - £15*
You can’t beat a red nail polish can you? I think this was
the ideal colour nail polish to add in this months box as of course it’s the
month of love. As you can see, this nail polish is a stunning sultry cherry
colour and what’s great about this nail polish is that with a top coat, Nails
Inc nail polish really lasts! I had this one for nearly a week until I changed
it at the Glossybox event.
Regenerate Enamel Science Advanced Toothpaste - (Sample Size, Full Size £10)
I was glad to see Regenerate in this months box as I had
just run out of my last sample (also these samples are VERY handy if you travel
around a lot!) This toothpaste is strengthening, mineral restoring and has
unique NR-5 ingredients which helps reverse the enamel process as well as
giving you fresh, pearly-white teeth.
Thierry Mugler Alien Fusion Parfum and Alien Man Fusion Perfume - Samples*
Who doesn’t love a perfume sample? I love how I was able to
give my boyfriend a gift from this months box and he’s even got the full size
of this now, as it smells so nice. The ‘for
her’ scent is a hot and spicy scent and the ‘for him’ scent is musky with a
strong ‘leather’ smell (and believe you me the men’s one is incredible!)
Can you believe that this is the second time, which Huda
Beauty has appeared in Glossybox? Amazing right?! Even more amazing is that
this shade ‘flirt’ goes perfectly with my favourite nude lipstick! This months
box included either a full size of ‘Flirt’ or the shade ‘Venus’. Pretty amazing
considering the box is £10 and this lip liner is worth £16 alone! Now onto the event in London…
Last Tuesday, I had a day booked off work and it was all for
a trip to see the wonderful team at Glossybox for their ‘Valentines’ blogger
event. I feel so grateful to be considered one of their favourite influencers
and it was lovely to meet so many other likeminded influencers at the event.
The event consisted of cupcake decorating, drinking
cocktails, and eating canapés and of course, getting our nails done by Nails Inc! Dreamy
right? I also met some of the brands from this months box including
Vitamasques, Regenerate and Lord&Berry.
I came away with a bag of goodies and a massive smile on my
face so thank you to the wonderful team at Glossybox for a lovely event!
