So I bet you’re wondering, where have I been? The truth is,
life just got a little too much in the way. I’ve always been regularly posting
on Instagram as I find as a platform it’s just so ‘instant’ and it's perfect if
you’re on the go a lot. However, with blogging and creating content for blog
purposes it involves a lot more time and, in all honesty, dedication. This can
sometimes be a little difficult when you work full time and have a commitment
to trying to keep fit!
However, if you’re wondering what’s happened in my life
since my last post, here we go…
1. A Weekend Break in York
Over Ben’s birthday, we decided to take a break and take a
couple of days off work and visit York. I have to say; if you live in York you
are very lucky as it’s a lovely place! We had a couple of lovely meals as well
as a visit to Brew & Brownie for breakfast, which was SO good. We walked
along the walls as well as did the typical sightseeing! But if you’re looking
for a staycation, York is a lovely place to visit.
2.
I
got into posting my outfits on Instagram
A year ago, I didn’t have the confidence to post my outfits
on Instagram, despite still absolutely loving fashion! However now, I am really
enjoying posting more fashion content and if you fancy taking a look my
username is of course @fashiontrain.

We
lost the house we were buying
You may remember a few posts back, or if you’ve been
following me on Instagram or Twitter that myself and my boyfriend were buying
a house. Unfortunately, we lost the house through no fault of our own and lost
out on a lot of money as we’d already paid for legal fees. However, it was time
to pick ourselves up again and work out what we were going to do next.
4.
We
found a new house to buy
About 4 weeks later, after around 10 house viewings later,
we found a new house! We are currently going through the house buying process
again so its fingers crossed that this one goes smoothly.
5.
We
went on a trip to Bath for my 25th Birthday
Finally, I turned 25! Ben surprised me with a trip to Bath,
which is a place I’ve always wanted to visit. On my birthday, Ben surprised me
with a trip to the Thermae Spa, which was so lovely and relaxing. We also
visited the Roman Baths, which was really interesting as well. So yes, Bath is
another place which I’d recommend visiting if you’re looking for a Staycation.
I’ve made a promise to myself that from now on I’m going to
set some time for my blog, so expect to see a lot more posts on here
(hopefully) from now on!
Are there any blog posts, which you want to see? Updates on
the house? Beauty? Lifestyle? Fashion? Let me know!
